I have a spinach plant that just bloomed and I have been told that I should have harvested while the flowers were still buds. Is it ok to harvest it now or is it too late after the flowers open (and if it is too late then why)?Harvesting spinach after the flowers have bloomed?
Topo late...the spinach gets extremely bitter and nasty tasting after it ';bolts'; to flower then seed out
